I gave them a cookie. And they made me a heart Worm Farm ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )
Aww that was so nice of them. I wonder what they would make for you if you gave them some Christmas cake?
That's a different sort of romance, innit. Well, february isn't all THAT far away, is it. You know Donna, those are the friendliest worms I have ever seen.
Great worms Donna S. Show us more....I had lots of flats when I raised my little Robbie-Dobbie the Robin in the 1970's. He loved them and learned allot to boot. Now I serve all my leftovers of leftovers of leftovers to my chickens. When they see my bag coming across the property, they smash themselves into the chain link fence. When I open the gate I can't even walk because they are tripping me. I have to slide my feet over to the food dish. I have fallen trying not to step on the. the very silly chickens. They love leftovers.
Barb, I have the same problem--being mobbed by chickens wanting their goodies. I have found that if I take even a little of whatever they are going to get and throw it as far away from the coop door as I can, they all run after it and I can get into the coop without destroying any tail feathers. So this is how low we have sunk--trying to outfox chickens :'( .
LOL Yes, my hubby throws little morsels out so he can walk peacefully but I just don't think of that. I also have sloppy stuff where he gets to give them bread and cakes and desserts.
