.......when you not only ALLOW yourself to look completely ridiculous, but revel in it, all to please your grandkids! Case in point: River decided that he wanted me to be Spiderman. This is the result. I particularly like the counterpoint of the Spiderman mask, and the Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas shirt! Also. The mask wouldn't fit right. Why would it? It's a 3T or some damn thing! It sat on my face in a way that caught the tip of my nose and turned it up. I'm all nostrils and piggy nose in the pic. Oh well, the boy thought the whole thing was hysterical...he ran around screaming "Spider-Bee, Spider-Bee!" and giggling maniacally. The "Bee" is because River and Lucy (my daughter's kids) call me Bee.....long story. Fun times.
Wow Toni, you're right! I'll take it! I admire her ! I think at least part of it has to do with the fact that we both have very square faces, and in that pic of me being Spiderman, the lower half of my face is accentuated so my squared off jawline is very evident.
Wonderfill superhero grandma! Last time I was any sort of "SUPERHERO" was during menopause. THE HOT FLASH.
I love the love the photo! It reminds me of playing with my kids, grandkids, and now my great-grand kids. What great memories for you and for your grandson.
