Well yesterday as I arrived home during yesterday snow with the Friday pizza's I stopped at my mailbox. After I collected my junk mail & bills; I headed up my driveway and I heard a loud noise. I looked back and saw that a young driver in a SUV had lost control and crashed in to the mailboxes. I guess someone is looking over me. Talk about a close call.
Oh my that must have given you quite a shock!! Thank goodness you didn't spend time reading through any of your mail. I presume the driver was unhurt although I doubt you could say the same about your mailbox.
You got out of the way just in time! Hope everyone is alright. It is amazing how a little amount of snow after this large winter we have all had, can cause so many issues on the road.
That was a close call! It's much easier and cheaper to replace a mail box than to heal the damage you could have gotten! I think you should get a lottery ticket also.
