    Hi all,

I am in western NY, two miles from the Lake Erie shores, and am in zone 6b. (Yes, zone 6... never gets under zero degrees here).

Sure was glad to find such a wonderful forum. You guys are the greatest!!

I am 64 years old and I have been gardening, in one way or another, since I was 6. The older I get, the more I relize how little I know about the subject.

My main gardening interests are Biointensity (John Jeevers style)and survival living. I just started, this year, to convert 2 acres of old grapes to double dug raised beds of wegies. Needless to say, I haven't gotten very far, but I am retired so time is my biggest ccomodity.

Hope to get through the winter talking to you all,

    Charlie

Thanks, one and all, for y0ur wondeful welcoming.

I hope I'll be able to discuss my love of
biodivesity all winter long. It's not that much
different than any other good organic style.

This is my second attempt to write this note.
The first got timed out when i went to
preview. If thiss one works, I'll use this
    from now on.

Love and peace through our gardens,

    Charlie

Charlie, I have been an organic gardener all my life. For the 18 ish years that I was a professional gardener, I insisted my clients had organic gardens. Their allergies stopped, they learned to love their gardens. Sure are glad to have you here.
