A Robot is an internet web crawler sent out to check out different sites, most of them are good but some do attempt to join. Have you ever gone to a site to join or contact them and been asked to repeat a series of letters or numbers that you see in a block or asked to repeat your email address or password? Those are to weed out Robots that try to join usually for no good purpose. A Guest is an actual human who is visiting and might join.
I hate it when they give you some numbers or letters all jumbled close together, half of the time I get them wrong and can't get on the site...Maybe I am a robot and Mom never said a word to me...Ha,ha... seriously, I think they are hard to read or get right.
@ Frank: Thanks for all the work putting the new platform together. XenForo FTW! It's so much easier to navigate now! Anyway, I've been on hiatus from the site (and mostly from gardening) for more than a year so I was really surprised (and happy) when I logged in today. Now that I'm all over plants and stuff again, I'll be using the forum a lot and this totally pwns! But yeah, I'm with S-H on getting dark skins... Not a huge issue or anything but it would be really cool. Just one thing I still needa test and that's vids... sooo I'll text that now... Works! 2 ways = MEDIA/URL. @ S-H: I like the thing about incorporating Google translate in the future but it still has some serious issues with Russian-to-English. It doesn't get a lot of Russian grammar or pop phrases. But yeah, I totally do agree that it would really pwn to get more international members.
