I am thrilled to announce the arrival of my new Great Granddaughter born 6pm yesterday. Unfortunately my grandson and his wife have not decided on a name yet but nevertheless I just had to broadcast it to the world
    as I am so excited:)

Oh isn't she precious!! I don't have grandchildren, let alone great grandchildren, so I'll share the happiness and pride in your new family addition if I may.

Thanks everyone. The only thing is I wont be able to give her a cuddle yet as she is on the Isle of Wight but hope to go over there very soon and eventually to move there.

Awww, she is beautiful.Congratulations. Is the hand-made little bonnet your handiwork?

Our friends here in Swindon have their grandchildren in Manchester and they use Skype or FaceTime regularly to keep in touch.

Unfortunately I did not make the bonnet Kiasmum but no doubt my knitting needles will get busy very soon:)
We do use Skype so hopefully will see her 'in the flesh' so to speak soon. Still no name yet though, they are taking their time:confused:
