My friend Richard is in bad shape. He went in the hospital on Mon. for a routine heart procedure and things quickly went downhill from there. Blood press fluctuated between 200/60 to 40/60. He stopped breathing and they were able to bring him back. I have known him since the early 1960's. We lived beside them for 5 years in Virginia Beach, Va. He is also a 20 year Navy Veteran.
Cap...it is so hard to have a good friend suffering and to feel so helpless. But i do believe that prayers help, so you can count on me to do my best. Prayers for Richard, check. How are you doing by the way? I've been looking for your health results but haven't seen a post. You were doing to get a diagnosis on May 29?
Vit, found out I do have COPD, which I was pretty sure I did. Part of the problem is also a weak and enlarged heart. I have moderate blockages in both legs, I go see my Cardiologist on Thurs. He is the same one I had 14 years ago when I had my bypass. I do what I can, but rest mostly.
My thoughts are with you and Richard CK. I hope he recovers and begins to feel better soon. Good luck tomorrow when you go to see your cardiologist. Is Richard in the same hospital that you're going to for your appointment? I do hope so as seeing you will cheer him up.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Sending healing thoughts and wishes to Richard, his family, and you and yours.
Richard lives about 50 miles south of Macon Georgia. The hospital he is in is in Macon. I talked to his wife this morning and he is doing better. They expect to be able to move him to a regular room on Thurs. Sounds like they are going to keep him until they figure out whar's going on.
