I saw this idea on facebook this morning and I liked it so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought the bowls and the vase filler. I had the village scene with all of the small figures but you could use fairy garden items too ....or just about anything you wanted to put in it. Here is my version... I was lucky enough to have a hat...You could make one out of felt...If you make one please share here...
Thank you Netty, Eileen and Zu zu... I really didn't want to pay 6.99 a bag for the snow ( I used 4 of them) but I think that looks like real snow with how it glistens. The containers were all on sale so I saved some money there. In all it cost me about 44 dollars because I had all of the things I put inside...Today I am going to put the rest of the village on the counter around the snowman .....It will make a cute winter scene
I think it's quite magical Sherry and I really hope that you will share more photos as you continue to develop the scene. You have me thinking what a fun alternative this might make to trying to set up a traditional tree in a small space.
