Hellew everyworm, I am Wally ...Wally the Worm, and I live in Sjoerd's lottie.

As you all know, worms are flexible and if you would like to give me another name, that is fine. Worms are not tremendously social, but I am breaking the mould and coming above ground to make more contact with human beings. My co-worms told me not to do that...that it is just not done. You may have seen my pal in Bee Movie--well, I am trying to do the same for the worm community.

We have existed as an underground community for a long time, but now it is time to try and worm our way into the Bovers society... The Bovers have had it all their way for so long, but here and there they are making life difficult for us. This will be a sort of Publicity Campaign and a Get-To-Know-Your Bovers action on our part so that we both can work towards a better relationship. We are a segmented society, but some of us are getting a wiggle on to integrate with you Bovers.

    Hello Bovers---This is me...Wally!

I reach from north to south and east to west and everything that is transverse.

Aside from my worldly desires, I am also interested in gardening and look forward getting to know you all. Hopefully we can share knowledge and I can become a better gardener. I am relying on your knowledge. Just help me and I will stretch to become the best that I can be.

I would give you a hug of friendship, but that is difficult without arms... instead if you will extend a finger in friendship, I will wrap around it to embrace your gesture with all that is within me...casts are free.

---Hey Sjoerd, did you get my good side!? No messin' around with your camera now ...c'mon mate.

What a lovely worm feeling I got reading your story Wally. I hope you'll continue to entertain us in the future. Just be careful of those blackbirds when you're above ground!!

Ahhhh Eileen you make me feel so welcome. My segments clatter with happiness. You are right about those blackbirds, I only come above for short periods of time because those blackbirds are known to have flights of hunger.

I'll tell you what though...you know the seagull--a very cagey bird. They stamp on the ground here and some of my colleagues are fooled and quickly crawl above ground only to be gobbled up by those feathered monsters.

You know, its a reverse relationship with blackbirds and gulls--we don't go above and try and pull a bird (even on a good day)...the birds try and pull US! Those things make my skin crawl.

Nice to meet you Wally! I've got a lot of your cousins around here, and I'm certain they'd welcome you in if you ever decide to show up in this corner of the world.

Ohhhhh....splendid. Perhaps I can wiggle up that way one day. How far is it? Can I reach you in a couple of hours or so?I am so cold-blooded that I need to come in the summer though.

I have to say that I am frightened of the trolls y'know (I have seen Sjoerd's foto's). They tell me that theycome into our space sometimes and just make havoc. Well, if I can crawl away, I shall pack me bags and give you a ringkel.

Oh...cousins that I haven't yet met...in Worm World, cousins marry. Perhaps I could come home saddled with a bride.

Normally I am wary of Bovers, but my pal Sjoerd has told me lots about you and he assures me that you are kind and...attractive to the eye. That actually fell on deaf ears, because I have no eyes--I'm as blind as a worm you see.

Well, I CAN feel temperature though...so I shall expect a nice hug or sommink friendly. What do Noortjes do when they greet actually, rub noses?--I'm oké with that. You shall have to come down to my level though...I have no legs, you. Ach, what am I thinking...of course you know that--you're a gardener. Tch. Forgive me.

Well Droo.....may I call you Droo, we've just met and I do not want to begin with tutoyeren without permission. Sjoerd has already told me that I must behave myself and show respect to others when above ground. You may find it hard to believe, but our dark Worm World is different that the world of you Bovers. Completely different...some call our World a "Dirty World"...but that's a matter of perception, don't you think?

Right then...it is time to eat, I must be moving on...tunnels to make and casts to drop.
