Our roses are doing particularly well this year, and I wanted to share a few of them with you. Not all are in bloom, but these are, along with two or three I've posted before. This is Dark Lady, an Austin rose that has a heavenly scent. Here is what she looks like close-up: This is an antique rose, Old Blush, that is so hardy and is so easy to propagate. And this is one of the roses we got this spring, April Moon. She is trying hard to keep up with her big sisters! I hope you enjoyed a walk with the roses--there may be more to come!
Oh I do hope there are more to come!! Your Dark Lady is so beautiful with her red, velvety petals. I do so love scented roses. I'm actually thinking of getting a few more for the front garden this year. This from someone who used to swear she'd never have roses is a BIG turnaround and I wouldn't be without them now.
Gorgeous! I'm having trouble grasping the fact that you have Roses in BLOOM! We are getting more snow tonight, and the only things visible in the garden are the tips of the Daffodils.
