I am with Netty on that. It gives you so much possibility. Everything is looking so well there. Will you be selling all these this year on the markets, or will you let them first mature a bit more?

I do not think that anyone on here can help but be impressed by what you do......(whispers) perhaps be a tad jealous as well. :Dhee, hee, hee.

Oh, I love my greenhouses, Netty. This is the small one.

S, you are silly. It is just a lot of work. anyone can do it, you just need the resources, time and interest. All of that will be sold come Spring.

Fab! Wish you and your greenhouse were in my neck of the woods - you'd have a steady customer in me with those lush and healthy plants of yours. :like:

I am just in awe of all your plants! I can barely keep up with the few in the house and the ones around the porch and in the garden!!!

What do you do with them if you don't mind me asking......do you have buyers for all the things you grow?

Thanks Netty for telling me that. I was thinking it was me. I even tried a different camera.. to no avail.

Ronni, I sell everything. This is my job. One that I get to stay pretty much at home. I am here when Kevin needs something ( he is also self employed and sometimes things chage on a job and he needs parts or something breaks and he needs tools etc), my inlaws require care and I still can help with the expenses and keep busy. I can't imagine doing nothing. I still have to be here, especially for my inlaws now. They are both pushing 90, one is legally blind and neither drives and one seems to have developed memory issues. I am needed here at home. Cooking and cleaning, doctors appointments and pharmacy all pretty much are in my lap. It is like having more children.

Carolyn said ..... no matter what setting I use, what shutter speed, what aperture?, whatever settings are on the camera for manual, I can't get red or purple to photo with any semblance of reality of the flower.

Carolyn purple, blue and red are in the broken spectrum of colors and cameras just can not get those colors correct no matter what you put the settings on. Professional photographers have all sorts of filters, color correction techniques and tricks of the trade to get the color true to life but the regular photo taker just can not do that.
Many other colors are in the broken spectrum too but those are the most commonly complained about by regular people who can not afford all the fancy equipment to correct it.

so I need a filter to take a picture of those colors, right? well, that isn't going to happen, I suppose. I just can't justify the expense of a few pictures, but thanks for the information, that helps to not be so frustrated over it.

There are apps to help filter colors. Its not as vibrant as the stuff that costs money. But does help some.

Personally I think your pictures are beautiful.
