Hi, I have a mystery vine that showed up on the trellis behind my black knight buddelejas last year. It grew over a few of them. I only noticed it as it flowered last year and stood out with its white flowers. Well its still here this season and growing more. I did feed it a lil. I don't have any pics of its flowers yet but maybe the leaves could offer a clue? I like how its looking like a heart back there. Any ideas?
Do you have a pic of a bloom from last year? The leaves look like Clematis terniflora. Hopefully it's something else.
Sounds like it could be a clematis like u describe........which is ok because I like how it flowered last year. I don't remember it being deciduous though.......hmmm....guess when the flowers come in we will know more.
I'd be ok with that too! The leaves seem a lil different from a honeysuckle though upon google search but who knows... Come on flowers!
I'd be leery of anything that just showed up like that & got as big as that in just a year or two. Just saying. Hope your house is a safe distance away.
I've actually been looking for things to grow on this trellis for a while now so I'm not too worried about it. A few chops at the ground would kill it if I had to. No flowers yet....
That looks like an evil vine I have in my back yard growing all through my shrubs. It's almost impossible to get rid of. I don't know what it is called, but if it is the same as the plant in those pictures, beware.
The leaf looks similar to Honeysuckle,..picture below from my Honeysuckle,..hoping it flowers soon so we can place it.
