While my hubby was wondering out by the gardens he found a little critter in the grass. Low and behold it was one of those little bluebirds just out of the boxes. How sweet. I will check tomorrow to make sure he is gone..I am sure he will take flight soon...

Awww - he is a cutie. Hopefully he'll take flight before he meets any harm.

His parents will keep an eye on him for a while yet so, hopefully, he'll be OK.

He did great. He hop-flew up on a low branch of the grape vines. He sat there and hung out there all day today... he will learn how to fly soon... He was cute. Late last night he sat there with a baby bunny. They were hopping around by each other...wish I'd got a pic of that but it was too late...

I wished I could have been there to see the two babies playing.

Oh no, my hubby could walk right on the baby. He didn't do that with the little bunny for he knew he would chase him away, but he was close enough to see clearly.

They are so cute ...I hope he makes it. Most little birds in our yard have to be careful with all of our hawks around.
