Woke up to a winter wonderful of the white stuff that just kept coming all day. The trees are looking quite pretty but hopefully it'll all start to melt soon! Waiting for a snow plough to come down the road........like waiting for a pot to boil.
I'd love to have snow just now instead of the weather we're having. I don't mind a bit of snow at this time of year as it feels more like Christmas. I hope the plough gets to you soon.
Those are beautiful pictures, worthy of Christmas cards, but I've had enough white Christmases for a lifetime. Give me a green Christmas!
Love your pictures IL We have had a high today of 13 C and around 10C for the foreseeable future. So no chance of snow. If we do get any it is more likely after Christmas.
Well Island...if you're waiting around anyway, why not make some hot cocoa. hahaha. I say that because I am having a cuppa at this very moment in my special stripey cocoa beeker.
Since I wasn't actually 'moving' much yesterday I finished all three of the lap quilts I was making for the grandkids for Christmas and cause I had matching fabric left over I made them placemats (NOT that I put much work into them as the word "Pristine" is not going to apply to them for long). Vacuum'd most everything, washed up everything in the kitchen, re-filled up the hummingbird feeders, drank too much coffee in the morning and then too much tea in the evening and watched TWO movies on TV!! Geez - I think I'm tired This morning 10:20am NOW it is lightly drizzling. That can be good and/or that can be bad. Good if it melts away all the snow. Bad if it just gets everything wet and then freezes into a mega ice rink.
