earlier this week decided to do a couple boston butts for Saturdays dinner.. last night injected and rubbed them... heres what i woke up to... got the smoker going added apple/ hickory chips and the meat....dang it was cold.. after 4.5 hrs rotated the butts.... 4 more to go... about noon going to be added the chicken wings...
Excuse me while I drool! Those Boston butts look great--I think you braving the cold will be worth it. I smoked a chicken last weekend, but I won't mention the outside temperature while I was doing the chicken (by the way, it was a store-bought chicken--nobody we know).
Well I was going to ask what on earth Boston Butts were BUT then I scrolled down and wished I hadn't. They look so succulent and delicious that I'm drooling now too. I think I'll just nip off and raid the 'fridge as I forgot to have lunch and I'm really hungry after seeing you post.
now just to make you really want to lick your computer screen.... racked up four baskets of chicken wings.. added the chicken wings..... once these 4 racks are done,have one more to go in... ok now go get a towel and clean off your computer screen .....
2;15 the first 4 racks are out..... way too spicy for the wife perfect for me.. she went out and picked up 3 more packs, was instructed not to put anything on them...lol
I suppose you've done me a favour as my keyboard and computer screen needed a good clean!! Didn't find anything in our 'fridge half as good as your food though.
How cruel of you majorcatfish! At the very least you could have added a scratch and sniff too. Jeebus that looks good.
I talked to Bill Gates at Microsoft last week about that. He will be putting in scratch and sniff app into windows 12 should be out in a couple years....
