Vidalia Onion Deal

Yes, my hubby found a great deal again on onions. I am sure they are not real fresh but they work fine for my soup and to dehydrate them... He just loves those deals.....

 

So The first post you see the beginning onions and then you see them cooked down. Finally in the jars along with some dried onions I did. I will be able to double this over the weekend....I have half the case left....

Yes and Carolyn, Do you remember when I made bone broth fro the neighbor farmer's beef cow? I canned tons of it...that is what I used for the onion soup broth....How bout it....right?????

 

Looks great! You just reminded me that I need to make some more onion soup ... I'm down to 2 jars left!

 

Yum. It was delish.......Next time I will put it in a smaller bowl that will go in the broiler.....

 

I wish that I could grow those over here.
They do taste so good.
