I have two wrens that both come to me when I open a window. They have been eating from a block of suet mix that I hold but today I tried to feed them with little pieces like the chickadees. One came straight away and tried a sample, they do take off with the bits however, it was just a trial.

A trial that obviously works Kildale. I would love to have a window like yours to attempt to feed my birds by hand.
