Jen I'm so sorry to hear your news. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet but they will always live on in our hearts and memories.
Oh, Jen, I am so sorry for your loss. It hurts and will hurt for sometimes a long while but keep remembering the happy times you spent together and know that your love and care gave her a very good life.
I lost my boy Bruno (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) 2yrs ago at the age of 11yrs to stage 3 kidney disease...totally heart breaking, never again and I do miss him
I don't know if i'm posting this in the proper place but this morning I found Blaze my leopard gecko had passed on ..her weight had gone from 54g to 42g through the year and the summer heat kept messing the humidity about in her tank but there's a place by we that sells reptiles besides rescued ones and I took her to a chap and told him the situation and he said a parasite would have caused it and most likely from a locust...I was totally devastated first my dog and now blaze. Her home environment was kept clean daily, I just cannot believe it and i'm totally shocked her food caused it. RIP Blaze
Thank you Eileen for your kind words...apparently the parasites come through the food (locusts) from the people who are breeding them and what they actually feed them...I thought the heat this summer had caused the weight loss messing about with her readings in the tank but it affects their organs...i'm just totally shocked. I even brought 4 new bags of sand to change her tank again for autumn and told my hubby to give them to the charity shop.
Thank you Netty ...like I said to Eileen i'm just shocked, it seems the less you look after a pet the more they survive
