Apologies DeepWoods,..i do also like the Lavender ,..the entire images depicts Lavender,..nice one,..i was distracted by the Blueberries,..got sort of a longing for something sweet and forgot about the Lavender image
A Cocklebur Weevil (Rhodobaenus quinquepunctatus) on a sunflower petal Azelea Lace Bug - Stephanitis-pyrioides...for scale, that's the tip of my index finger in the left side of image.
Pretty Lacebug,..look at that Weevil,..one feels like it could be prodded to see it move,..it comes out of the screen
Okay DeepWoods, 'fess up--are you a professional photographer? Your photos are stunning, unusual, and simply amazing. Your picture could almost (but not quite) make me admire fire ants! You also made me realize I need to plant cosmos again, and perhaps give lavender another try. Please keep the pictures coming!
Mostly just a hobby that I love ........although I have done some photography work in the past Thank you for the kind words and I'm happy that you enjoy the pictures and every garden should have some Cosmos, they're so beautiful and easy to grow.
more photos to share with you all...hope you enjoy Early morning Cosmos Rudbeckia and other wildflowers Sun Seeker
The first two images are like what one would see in a Fairy or Woodland Sprite book,..i also like the Sun Seeker
