Many of you may already know that I LOVE my Heucheras, and have a huge collection numbering around 60-65 (how many did I plant this year? LOL)
Doesn't hurt that I work in a nursery, so access and first pick is nice!
I am loving this new one. It has really been a beauty, keeping this vivid purple color. Next season, I'm getting more. IMG_1844 (2).jpg

Kay, that is a very lovely H.
I can understand that you love them.
I have only one. It blooms twice a year, and the honeybees lurve it.

That's a beauty Kay. I have some but unfortunately we are plagued with woodlice where I live and I am afraid they have killed one of them, just eaten the roots away:(

I absolutely love them too! I have probably close to 20 here there and everywhere but really only about 5 different varieties. I try and pick up new ones when I see them but always seems the same ones are brought in year after year here. That purple one is fantastic!

Cayuga- yes it really is that vivid purple color.
2ofus- it is called Forever Purple
It was at the nursery I work for. I HAD to have one, and in the spring I will get 2 more. They are very striking!

Even as winter has arrived here; it still keeps most of it’s color; but I have let the fallen leaves gather around it to protect it because we don’t have any snow.

What kind of a place does it like to grow in....in terms of light?

I seem to have the best luck with filtered light, more on the shady side is what they do best for me.
