Some more pics of my vegetables. Our Aubergines are growing really well this year and behind them is a row of cauliflower, they too are looking good. The row on the left are capsicums with basil and lettuces. The Pumpkins are starting to grow. Tomatoes soon. The tomato house is more like a jungle. Basils are planted in between all the tomatoes. From left to right, a row of onions, beans, onions, basil and lastly capsicums with lettuces.
You've got a great, healthy looking garden and lots of good things planted. From the looks of your tomatoes, it won't be long before you will be eating fresh vine ripened tomatoes! YUM!
What a wonderful garden you have created. You should be deservingly proud. A lot of joy, hard work and effort has gone into your space. Lots of great food will be on your table all from your little paradise. Can't wait to see more.
Sorry about the double post, but here goes anyway. In the foreground are potatoes and then a row of young chard, and thenyellow beans and then red cabbage and then purple beans and finally cabbage and cauliflower. Here is another view of the raised beds and dahlias.
It is nice to see your garden looking so healthy still. It seems that we are closer to the winter than you are, by the look of things.
Lovely images,..very interesting to see your progress and producing such a variety of healthy plants and flowers,..you sure put in a lot of work and deserve such good produce as a reward.
Your hard work and dedication has really paid off in your garden Odif. It's good to see that you still have flowers blooming at this time of year.
Some pictures from this morning This is quite unusual now, but they were planted in July. A closeup of a Dahlia. And lovely yummy strawberries.
Potatoes from seed started again, last year was just to see if this works, This year, I have a lot more. I removed the polytunnels from the lettuces that have been going since December. I will build the tunnels up elswhere and plant tomatoes in them. In the foreground are peas and in the row of boxes, are garlic, leeks lettuces and in the final one, I planted ginger. Here are strawberries that I just planted, they are the brown stumps in the foreground, the green strawberries are from last year.
Nice to see that someone is able to putter in their garden ... we are still fighting with snow and sleet and freezing rain here. I can't wait to play in the dirt! Looking good Odif!
Odif,..those seeds look promising,..your Lettuces look very healthy and i presume no more frost for you seeing you removed the polytunnels,..seeing i mentioned frost i will keep my fingers crossed there for you anyway. Well you have started and you are going to be at it full time,..i am looking forward to seeing your progress as time passes,..best of luck.
Wow what wonderful looking plants and great use of space. I also love to do companion plantings. We won't be doing any gardening for at least 10wks or so. We just had 24" of snow over the week end.
