We have been living in a 2 bed appartment for the last 5 years. The other day,my wife said we had to move, 10 minutes later, I came back to her with our new house. I went outside and saw the lady who owns a house 100 metres up the road. I asked her if we could rent her house and she said yes, so now over the course of this month, we are moving in. I will follow up with some pictures. So much to do, what with spring and the gardens and all.

Oh my, that upstairs balcony (are you going to put some container plants of the vining variety out there?) and the porch/veranda area to the left with that magnificent railing! Your wife must be absolutely thrilled, and you get more dirt to play in!
Do get chickens--they are more entertaining than TV programs!

Have a nice enjoyable move. That house is beautiful reminded me of the time I was in Issoire, France.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Chickens will come, but later. First things first. We have moved a lot of stuff already. We stripped the wallpaper off my daughter's bedroom and now We have started on the bathroom. I cleaned up outside and unblocked the gutters. I also spend a few hours in the morning looking after my gardens. Today I will plant potatoes and tomatoes out. Then it is moving and carrying and scrubbing and scraping.

I know exactly how you feel. This past New year's Eve my wife and I signed on our new forever home. It was about time after 9 long years renting a 2 br apt. Congratulations!!:like:

I just wish that we did not have to move at the busiest time for planting, luckily I worked the whole winter in the garden when weather permitted. The weather is also really warm with sun and good rains everyday, so I don't have to water.
