Been a busy spring, but I think I'm finally starting to get caught up in the gardens!
I finally got the 'Welcome Garden' at the beginning of the garden cleaned up

The Hosta walk still needs some weeding, and the plants should have been divided this spring but I just didn't get to it in time. I'll have to make a note for next year!

I did sneak in a new Hosta this year ... 'Rainbow's Edge'

My kids told me I have too many Hosta's and Alfie and I agree I don't have enough!
    This one is 'Island Breeze'

    Love my Bridal Wreath Spiraeas!

My Wisteria is bringing down the arbour! I'll have to get a stronger one!

My beloved Peony from my Mom, the one that started my love of gardening. It is still full of blooms despite this weeks gale force winds and rain.

    Peonies are my favorite!

Things are starting to come together. All we need is some rain :)

How lovely, Netty! I planted a Bridal Wreath Spiraea last year, which is doing very well. Can't wait for it to look like yours.

Wow Netty, your gardens are absolutely lovely! The variety of plants, the setting, everything goes together and is stunning.
Gas plant got its name from its ability to be set fire--it gives off something that can be set afire like natural gas. I do not suggest telling children about this!

I really enjoyed seeing your garden pics with commentary. It is delightful. I especially liked the Rainbow's Edge hosta.
The Welcome garden is quite attractive and....well....welcoming.
I especially loved that last foto showing how you have arranged that part of your gardens. Gad!!! I wish that I had enough room for that. I find it all spectacular, meid. --Chapeau.

Beautiful yard Netty....I love it. We have been looking for a shrub like yours , the Bridal Wreath Spirea. Haven't found one yet at the nurseries. I am way behind on my gardens, have had a bad case of vertigo that just won't go away.

@Netty, All your flowers are fabulous. I especially like the Bridal Wreath Spiraea and your white and red peonies.
