Sounds as though Galway is having similar weather to us here in Scotland Frank. :( Everything is wet and there's been a hard frost on the ground for a couple of days now making pavements really slippery. Still not a single flake of snow though.

Morning all. The temp now is 65 and that should be our high with the temps starting to fall and we can get back to some seasonal temps instead of the upper 70's and lower 80's of this past weekend.
We are supposed to get drizzle this afternoon, scattered showers tomorrow and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
But I will not tell you what there is a chance of here on Christmas Eve and Day because I do not want to jinx my chances. :D  :D

Good Monday morning all. Temp sitting at 3 deg C this morning. Hoping for a better day today...had some unexpected "excitement" yesterday in the grocery store. I went dizzy, almost fainted and had numbness in my arm and my heart was beating like crazy. Ended up at hospital where thankfully they found nothing wrong and sent me home. I'm feeling good today and after that very scary experience I'm counting my blessings today. I think I'll take it easy today...
Have a great day all and don't forget to count your blessings!

Good morning all. It's still wonderfully warm. We had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating Donna's 60th b'day. Saw a great play: "One Mo Time" that originated in New Orleans in January 1978. I saw it then and loved it. Saw it again yesterday and if anything, the performance was better. Had company, cake, etc., afterwards. Great day.

Good morning! It's only about 35F this morning. Rain is predicted for today and tomorrow. No sun yet, so maybe. I just hope it isn't snow. Dooley

A mix of rain or snow. It can't decide which to do. There are little hard snowballs falling. Hope it stops before afternoon, but that's doubtful. Dooley

Oh my Netty, what a fright you must have gotten. Was the grocery store crowded, lack of oxygen? It can happen. But I'm sure glad you got the all clear. Please take care.

Netty, I don't like going to the grocery store either but passing out isn't a fun way to get out of it. :-D
Glad you got the all clear.

What you described sounds like the panic attacks a friend of mine gets.

Sorry to hear that Netty. Do you have high blood pressure? that makes me dizzy sometimes...
Our weather is still damp and mild, compared with the usual freezing and snow we got last year. Very strange weather indeed.

Well, I was feeling great this morning and then around 11 am I started feeling "funny" again-ironically the same time as my incident in the store yesterday. I stayed home today and took it easy. Called the doctors office for test results and everything seemed normal except a slightly elevated blood sugar. But they are still waiting for a thyroid test result. The whole thing was really scary!! Luckily the store wasn't crowded. My husband is afraid to let me out of his sight, but making jokes that I must be starting menopause!

Gosh, Netty, I don't blame your husband for wanting to keep a sharp eye on you!
I wonder if the time of the day, and the blood sugar level may be a factor?
Hope they figure it all out quickly, no fun wondering if you're going to get woozy any minute.

    # Goood morning all! # It's Tuesday the 19th December don't you know. Richard we had a large amount of fog yesterday as well. Made the roads deadly dangerous. Are you sure you didn't teleport to Galway by mistake?

Netty hope you are feeling better and taking it easy for a few days. Thinking of you.

My sister arrives back from Australia today. I haven't seen her in 2 years. Very excited here in Galway :D

    Current temps: 3 deg C / 37 deg F
    Current music: U2 - Please

Going to have a hot mug of tea! Have a great Tuesday all.
