its not blooming this year i have fed it and done things i think i should, i just dont know. ..thank you margie oh yeah its a endless summer hydranga, sorry
We cannot grow Hydrangeas macrophylla here so I have never actually taken cuttings of it so cannot really help, sorry.
thank you anyway, ive had this one for years its really never done good so i thought it was just getting to big, its beautiful and green but not blooming. thank you ......margie
Failure to bloom can be caused by frost damage, too much fertilizer or improper pruning. You might want to stop feeding it to see if that is the problem, if you had a lot of ice and snow last winter it will need to come back from root damage and if you have pruned it you might have taken off the wrong stems or pruned at the wrong time of the year...some bloom only on old growth and some on new growth.
