I brought this plant early this year and it's now getting ready for winter, the flowering is lovely besides the autumn look. Itea Virginica "Henry's Garnet" "Viburnum Tinus" when I first brought them early this year and they're now getting ready to change white for the winter. Virginia Creeper changing colour.
Hello @eileen I took pictures in the sun yesterday and the sun was to strong to show the colour but took some today. It's hard to get the colours to show but there's bronze / orange / red / deep burgundy and it's going up through the conifers now.
My Alstroemeria "Princess Sara" as come back to life and re-flowering besides my white snapdragons keep going.
Thanks sjoerd yes it's quite big but the previous owner used it for a distillery usage in fruits and it took some clearing because I worried about my staffy at the time as he was devouring the strawberries. Here's a view of it when it was first done with a lawn Thank you Vincent it's took some doing and alterations in 10yrs
That is well sweet, Gail. I looks like it might have been done by Charlie and co. --chuckle. Do you have a water feature4 as well? Honestly though, it looks attractive and well-balanced. You must be well chuffed with this result. Well done you.
It was done by Hubby and co ...it's gone through some changes over the years. My dog wrecked the lawn and different plants besides new fencing. No water feature instead i brought a new bird bath that looks ok...well i am pleased with the result hubby did the decking and middle how i wanted it and he wanted it all slabbed down to the shed but the lots underlined and graveled as we don't get any younger with the old bones
Well, I think that looks smashing, Gail. Ach---well, you don't want too much paving though, as it would only contribute to the water drainage problem that some communities are having. The gravelling is a good compromise. But come on now---"old bones" You guys couldn't be THAT old. chortle.
Sjoerd...YES old bones i'm 50 and the old mans knocking 60 ...he's fine but me since birth inherited autoimmune diseases and the problems through the years it's done my head in ...so he makes life for me as simple as can be but I love attending the plants
Its good that your man makes things easy for you. I know that you really appreciate that. Attending plants is such a pleasurable thing to be able to do, that I am sure it gives you quite a bit of comfort. It's a good thing that you are not limited in that.
sjoerd he's golden and I brought a garden bench to sit at while doing the plants ...he took photo's yesterday and one of my virginia creeper, I just need him to pass the pic's over. I hope your keeping well?
