I never have problems with picture size on facebook, just here. I use Microsoft office picture manager...
I'm afraid there is a limitation on photo size Sherry as it adds extra cost, both on bandwidth and server space. Plus larger photos take longer for slower internet connections to download so I tried to reach a happy medium.
Another option for resizing your photos is IfranView...easy little free program. https://www.irfanview.com/ It will give you a simple resize window as shown here in a screenshot from the website. I am not affiliated with this in anyway.
I use another free app called Image Size, that’s very easy to use. You can also see your picture as its being re-sized.
I use the free site IMGBB You can post pictures as large, as I have been doing, or "medium" like this as I should do and will try to remember. Or thumbnail.
