Ach ...it is terrible weather outside again today. Bad as it is, we have an agreement that we will still go out and at least stroll about the park. Today we cut up some bread heels to feed the ducks, walked in the misting rain and along the way we noticed snowdrops coming up:

    Sorry for the blurred pic.

When we finished walking, we went in...it was teatime here...but what did we have?

All in all, a reasonable end to a wet and cold outdoor experience.

Sojerd, I went out this morning to pick lettuce, and on the way down the path saw a paperwhite (variety of narcissus) in bud. Mother Nature has a way of cheering us up, even with cold and drear.
When I got back in I had a mug of coffee--more to warm my hands than to warm my "innards."

Yes CAYU--I was quite surprised as well...but there they were.

JANE--It sounds like Spring is on the way there too. While we have a cold spell on the way, I suspect that there may be an early spring again this year.

I have a feeling that your daffs will survive.
