I have had my feeders out for a couple weeks ...not sure if they delayed their trip because of the rainy chilly weather or what??? But I am so happy they made it...
The rainy chilly weather probably inhibited the emergence of their food supply. The lucky arrivals now have your feeders. Sherry, do they nest near you? Do you get to see the young ones follow mom and dad in search of food Jerry
Thank you Eileen, Frank, Cayuga and Jerry. We don't get to see them nesting but that hasn't started here yet, usually they go into a more wooded area. After the young are born the adults bring them to the feeders and sometimes feed them the jelly. They catch on fast...
