    Logan, those cards are superb!
We finally had a morning without rain, so I picked sugar peas that really needed picking. The garden paths were so soggy I had to tread carefully or I would have ended up in the pea patch!
Our hens are confined to quarters--outside coop is a swimming pool and the old coop is a mud bath. They are on an elevated floor in the new coop with fresh bedding in the nest boxes, and with plenty of food and water. We (humans, cats, and hens) are all anxious for things to dry out!

Thank you Marlingardener I'm still learning about card making and I go on YouTube to get ideas. That Christmas card is one that Keith printed out on his computer and I cut the things out and put them on.Also put glitter on the Christmas cards and gems on the other cards.

It must be terrible having all that rain. In the winter we can get a lot and the brook bursts it's banks and flows down the road, but not close to where I live, it's where i walk the boys. I'm so glad that we only have 2 dogs now when it's like this.
I would love to have some chickens. How many have you got? Are they easy to look after.

Logan, we are on top of a hill, so have no real flooding problems. Everything is pretty soggy, though!
We have 15 hens, who are pets that give us eggs. They are easy keepers--just shelter from the elements and predators, good food and clean water.. We have a heat lamp in each coop for use in winter when needed, and a large box fan in each coop for use when needed in summer. They have an enclosed outside run, and I feed them in the morning and let them out, then check on them about noon, and bring them in about sundown. Did I mention they are pets?;)

Good Friday morning all. Currently 5°C and overcast. We had rain over night so it's a wet one out there.
Off to work where things just might be too wet to work in.
    I'm just glad it's Friday!
Have a great day all :)

Our son graduated university yesterday. It is a large school, the graduating class was 5500! The ceremony was held outdoors in the stadium. Very fortunately, the rainy westher we have been having for the past month abated so we did not get drenched!

What a happy day! We are so proud of him. We go back today for departmental celebrations. He is getting two degrees: one in computer science, the other in math.

Congratulations to your son and to you! He must be brilliant (but how else, considering the gene pool!) Enjoy the celebrations.
It's raining again. Yesterday was dry although muddy, and I got some herbs harvested. I had hoped to pick sugar peas today, perhaps if the rain stops :fingerscrossed:.

Congrats to your son Cayuga Morning ... you must be so proud!
Good Saturday morning all. Currently 9°C and sunny. It is SO wet outside that the air is still so damp making it feel a lot cooler. I hope it warms up so I can go outside and do some work in the garden! I have perennials to thin out, weeds to pull and soil to turn over. Also onions and spinach to plant.
But while it's warming up, I can do my laundry and some clean up inside.
Have a great day all :)

Celebrate ASAP!! Nothing quite like getting that college degree. It is a singular pursuit that gives you every right to blow the roof off of the place. Congrats on a job well done!

    Good sunday morning all
Thank you marlingardener about how you look after your chickens. I couldn't have any though haven't got the room.

That's great news about your son Cayuga Morning, have a good time celebrating.

Going to be a dry week ahead and warmer.
    Have a good day all.

Good Sunday morning all, and Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there. I am thankful I still have my Mom, she is 86 years young.
Currently 9°C and overcast. It is damp and cold, I am still wearing my winter coat. When is spring going to get here??
Tried to do some work in the gardens yesterday but the ground is just too wet. I did manage to split a few perennials and weed alittle but that's it. I cut the grass, even running the mower through some puddles. Daffodils are blooming, but nothing else is doing much.
I do have some Hummingbirds back at the feeders now, that's a sure sign of spring but otherwise you'd never know it!
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently 6°C and raining. Is this weather ever going to warm up and dry up a little?
Too wet to do anything again today, looks like I'll be transplanting the indoor plants.
Have a great day all :)
