My first thought is that it is a pretty old corn shucker, looks similar to one I saw on antiques road show quiet a while ago. Changed my mind, I think it is a Corn Sheller..
It looks similiar to a corn sheller I used as a boy. Wider though. Not a pic of ours but same model and design.
Is that used for corn whisky? I was shocked to learn the majority of vodka is actually made from rice, like saki. Corn whisky may be as rare as potato vodka.
