    Some of the old boats that were in the harbour. There was an annual race with food and a shanty choir.
    In another part of the harbour the ships were berthed four abreast.

    CAROLYN--It is a lovely place to live, if you like old harbours. haha. The old boats always look so picturesque. They are preserved and kept up by the owners taking on charters during the year and this helps finance the maintenance.

    Thanks JANE-- Sailing well truly is a skill. My Bride took a sailing course as a young girl and still knows so much.

    Glad you liked those foto's CAYU-- We were lucky to have some decent weather this year. One never knows about the weather here.

    Thanks to you as well, ISLAND. I like the looks of those old boats alot as well.
