I'd like to share a "funny" story that just happened to me. masks are becoming mandatory in order to get in a store, because of this my Ex made some masks for people, and because I live close to her Great-grandmother, I was tasked with delivering a mask. I picked up the kids got the mask from my ex, I delivered the mask to the great-grandmother... the irony here is that the very masks meant for "protection" might be the very thing that ends up giving her corona. I told her to keep the masks in the sun for a few hours, (sunlight kills viruses), and since she touched the masks she should probably wash her hands. agh I am so Sick of this all this crap. I cant wait for this to all be over.
SH, I LOVE "The Sound of Sirens". Not only because I love "The Sound of Silence". "Corona-Virus Raphsody" is good, just "Sound of Sirens" is better. This is the humor we all need right
Eileen, as in the sport or as in garden fencing ? We have a Groundhog making his (or her) rounds so fencing is a necessity here.
I did fencing for a couple of years at a boy's club when I was at school. My grandfather who was a maintenance man at a posh London hotel gave me a couple of Toledo blades he'd found after a hotel resident had left them behind leaving no forwarding address a few years before, one was very nicely engraved. I was none to pleased when I caught my mother using one of them to scrape away the soot she could reach in the flue of our lounge fireplace.
CORONA IRONY The air is pure but wearing a mask is mandatory. Roads are empty but not allowed to go on long drive. People have clean hands but there is a ban on shaking hands. Friends have time to sit together but they cannot get together. The cook inside you is crazy, but you cannot call anyone to lunch or dinner. On Monday the heart longs for the office but the weekend does not seem to end. Those who have money cant spend it. Those who don't have money cant earn it. Plenty of time but you cannot fulfill your dreams. The culprit is all around but cannot be seen. If someone leaves this world, he cannot be bid adieu. A world full of irony!
