Today we made blueberry jam and processed beetroots.

Here, some of the preparations are underway.

The jams are standing on their lids to sterilize the lids. This is about half of what we have to do. There are more blueberries in the freezer and quite a few still hanging on the bushes over on the lottie.

It was a long and hot job, but we had the good fortune of low temps outside and there was rain, so the work was not bad.

It is difficult to see, but the beetroots are boiling in that stewer behind the tall, blue jam pot.

    The pantry is filling up.

Hey Sjoerd, do you not process those jars in a hot water bath?

Looks delicious. And I like the blue of your jam and the white of your kitchen.
