It is 12:37 here and the fireworks are diminishing.
I want to wish everyone here the very best in the coming new year.
Stay safe and mind how you go.

Happy New Year to you too. We have a little under 5 hours to go and will most likely be sleeping soundly when it actually happens. Lots of rain all day today so maybe the idiots in our neighborhood will not be able to set off the fireworks this years like they usually do.

Very few fireworks here thankfully. Freezing temperatures and still lots of snow.

Have a Happy New Year everyone and let's hope it's better than 2020.

A very Happy New Year to all members, and like Eileen said, hopefully it will be better than 2020

Happy and safe New Year to All!

In our house it's like Christmas and New Year never happened and I guess it really never did.
I took all the fairy lights around the front door down, I always wrap them around a bit of card and put them back in the box, otherwise they'd be in a tangle when I got them out again, hopefully next year.
The Christmas cards are all down, but my wife saves a few if there's an illustration she likes on one that she can incorporate in a card next year. These she asks me to make a couple of copies so she can decoupage them.

The snow is melting and I may be able to get in the garden to prune the wisterias at the week-end
