Very impressive. A "day's work" for me, means starting at around 10.00am. and finishing before 4.00pm with a break for lunch. Mind you that's similar to some "contractor's hours."
Ronni, you have put in a lot of work getting your place to look nice, congrats, mate. That wide arch and plank walkway looks very Scandinavian or Friesian to me. It gives your place a very interesting appearance.

Yeah Netty that’s a veggie garden. A couple things have come back from last year (we’re waiting to see what they are lol!) but we haven’t done any this year because we’re doing so much house renovating that we know we won’t have the time to devote to a full garden. By next season our inside renovations will be finished and we can spend more time on the outside stuff, not just planting a full vegetable garden but enclosing our back porch and doing some landscaping to create a couple new flower beds and lay some stone. I always plant herbs in the pot by the kitchen door...this year it’s basil and cilantro, my two faves to cook and flavor with. And I did plant tomato plants in adjacent pots, just because I can’t stand the idea of going through a season without some fresh herbs and tomatoes!!
I love your garden and could spend hours just relaxing and admiring everything especially the porch and that lovely arch. It looks as though someone else appreciates your herbs Ronni. Our Labrador loves to sniff all the flowers in the garden as well as the herbs. Every new bloom that appears he has to check it out.
