Very nice pics Cayuga haven't got any peonies, when they flower it always rains and spoils them.

    Do you stake them Logan?

I buy the singles or semi-doubles for that reason, the flower heads of the doubles can get to be so heavy, the plant just flops over.

Those peony pics are superb, almost like you have a new camera.
One of those pink pics is like a déjà vu. ;)

Peony was not liking the wind and then storm the other night, I was sound asleep, so had not idea until well into the afternoon the next day..Suddenly looked around the Garden and several plants ruined and a poor birds nest discovered with little life left. Seemed to have been deserted by the parent(s) but then maybe the Mother was taken by one of the many buzzards, hawks or similar types around here.
The Peonies have little insects in them now, peonies.JPG
You should be able to see some in the Photo.

So sorry to hear that Dianne, it's very upsetting to see wildlife like that. I've been watching live YouTube videos with bluetits and great tits nesting and it can be very destressing.
Also when plants have been ruined.

Amazed how others photos come out so clear with close ups as yours are Cayuga Morning..The one I use is my Husband's a Konica Minolta Dimage Z5, quite old now but if I go close up it does look like the focus is blurring slightly.
Lots of settings but I just use it on auto basically...I would be interested to know other people's camera used.

Afraid Husband buried them earlier and I did not look at the nest again, no need is there.

This is my favourite of all our peonies and it has a wonderful scent, spot the ant on it. A8EE7B99-DFFC-4CBF-BB1B-42B3B96DB2D7.jpeg

Here is a close up of it. 287F3876-D872-417D-927A-C3984EE38AB3.jpeg

    This one is also lovely.

The red in 3 stages of Development. All our peonies are scented too.

So sorry that happened Dianne. Tough.

I use my phone camera. It's a Google Pixel.

Beautiful peonies Odif. I think that first white one is a Festival Maxima. Yes? If so it is old as the hills but still not surpassed by the newer peonies. I have one too but it is still in the budding stage. I love it. I have moved it with me from house to house! PXL_20210605_203504241.MP_compress32.jpg

@Cayuga Morning i have no idea of the Name, but it came from the garden of my wife’s grandmother, so yes it is very old.
