Thank You Sjoerd When they're young can have problems with slugs and snails, but last few years no problems because it's always been dry weather.
Well your all posting really lovely photos of your flowers. I hope I get better closes up soon. ....Well I have just ordered a new Camera a Cannon make and it is good for distance and close ups shots..lets hope so...or I will be..for sure. I have been using My Husbands camera now for quite some time, I must say I can feel it is wearing out..the close ups are not good at all...I keep having to turn it off and on to get some focusing..So the decision was made yesterday.... These are called Kniphofia 'Royal Standard' but only about half a metre tall. My New Apple Tree a Golden Delicious Variety Husband cleaned all his Mowers..think he polished them as well! Husband made this a few weeks ago...Cats firstly took it in turns..as in who gets in it first gets the carpet to lay on......
Can't wait for my new Camera to come.... Hoping the close up ones will be good like,Logans Loved the roses of course, but really enjoyed seeing those Anemones as well. .
We have a Texas native plant, Turk's Cap, that is colorful and that the hummingbirds love. I've been told that the berries that appear later make a good jelly. I've never tried that.
That is just so WOW @Odif We have had such amazing Sunflowers growing in the farmlands, all around us they are, and just the past few days..sad but has to be done..they are now gone....till the next time around.
