Thank you @marlingardener and @Doghouse Riley it was painful for a few hours but that's gone and only got the lump which is a bit tender and no headache, it was more of the shock.
@Doghouse Riley it's sort of good that you wear your cap.

A few days ago Hubby was asked if he had seen a golden retriever running around by herself. She was a rescue from a puppy farm a month ago she was being walked and was frightened by a noise and ran off. This was on a lamppost up the road from us.

Thanks Sjoerd and yes it's great I was over the moon about it. I feel for any animal that goes missing but because it's a goldie and because we have them it seems more sad.

Yesterday this arrived from Littlewoods store online, it's 45cm tall and was 24.99 pounds. Had to order early before they sell out.

this dog poster of which you have posted reeks of an internet scam. We have the exact same description of a dog with the exact same "do not chase" warning on posters around here. the only difference is the photo is reversed.

It was a real one I spoke to someone who found her and she's back home. I was told about a scam with these lost pets. Scammers go round looking for the posters and phoning the owner up and saying that they have found them but they're at a vet. They ask for money over the phone and the person gives their credit card details, instead of taking a few pounds they take £500. But thanks for your concern.

;);) Today I took my broom in for its annual tune-up. I don't want to be flying Halloween night and have my broom stall. I could fall down a chimney and end up in someone's living room. Children expect a jolly old elf in a red suit, and when a old lady wearing a peaked hat comes down the chimney, it confuses the little ones. Instead of a hearty "ho, ho, ho" they hear a cackle and get scared.
I put in an order for eye of newt at the grocery. They don't usually stock that, but can special order it. They are very accommodating, especially after I turned the previous manager into a badger. Turning a prince into a frog is so old hat. Making someone a badger--now that takes imagination!
Looking forward to Halloween, but I'll be so tired the next morning . . . .

On Monday I was supposed to be having my cataract surgery, they always phone patients up a few days before to see if they're well. I got a call yesterday and I had to tell her that I have a cold sore on my mouth. She said that I couldn't go ahead with it and cancelled it. Got another one for Friday the 12th of November.

When hubby had his hernia surgery privately they told him not to shave himself just incase he scratched his skin.

Cleaning the conservatory, a few days ago I cleaned the floor and windows, the windows I used some soapy water to get all the green off from the plants. This morning went over the windows with a cleaner called windowlene. I also just done the outside with soapy water but need to clean them again. It's difficult with all the pots in the way so I used a mop to reach it.

Logan, I use a mop on my little greenhouse structure too. I can't reach it from the floor so I wear myself out mopping the ceiling. the rest of them... too much effort. I just change the plastic every 4 years or so.

Carolyn yes it's so much easier with the mop, originally I bought it to clean the floor tiles in the bathroom along side the toilet where can't get to it any other way.
