Its time again for sending Christmas cards. A couple of weeks ago I sent cards to folks overseas and yesterday I sent to the folks here. Now for my gardening colleagues here. This year, I’m taking the easy way out with this golden oldie. Regardless I do wish you one and all the best of holiday greetings.
I’m glad it arrived on time. Yippee. You never know how the mail service will be at this time of year.
Thank you Sjoerd and Merry Christmas and happy New year to you and your family. Also every one else on Garden Stew
Merry Christmas to all of you. I have not sent out any cards. I was going to send one to a homebound friend, but the dogs ate it. I had to send her a letter of apology instead....
(my darling puppies Ginger and Ruby are not so well behaved as Ernie. They are over 30 lbs already, and can reach my shoulders if they stand up, so they can reach most anything in the kitchen including forbidden things on my desk and table... They have chewed up important papers and pens, and the floor--chewed holes in my floor--, the lineoleum, blankets. They LOVE to play Kill The Blanket!) For that matter, Louie and Buddy love to chew up forbidden items also... Freddy is fairly well behaved, but he is over 10.
Ha, ha, ha. That’s a good one. I worry about doing that every year. I have a pile of left-over cards as a result. Ach, but I feel sure that its the thought that counts...your brother did send a card, right. That shows that he is thinking about you.
Thanks and yes it doesn't matter if it's the same. Hubby worries about that when we send one to his sister, but it doesn't matter to me, it's the thought that counts. And you shouldn't worry either Sjoerd.
Intellectually I know that, but I worry that the recipients will think that I didn’t think enough of them to send a different one. Chuckle. Its nuts, I know.
