Barley and Berry waiting for their chips in the oven. They're not hot I just put them in there.

DSC02001 (2).JPG Lucky (blondie) and Tinker (ginger) on a break in Dorset.
I really miss Lucky, and Tink does too - it is hard to cheer him up and although he knows what happened, I think he is still looking for her :smt085

Berry went into the crate by himself but always move the bedding away and lies on the floor.

This is Barley when he was still at the breeder, I think that he was 5 weeks old.
He always liked getting under the bedding. Went back at 7 weeks and took him home.

I/We are all aware of the great love Logan has for her dogs. I for one share such affection for dogs.........................and most other animals. Yes, I do sometimes have the odd word of praise for modern technology and the internet. My life has always had dogs in it. However it is only in recent years that I have come to appreciate not only dogs, but many other animals. That these creatures are perhaps sometimes far superior to us, with their senses.
I have been around police dogs and military dogs. A local PC, John, had a Labrador as his police dog. Folk were more likely to approach the dog, and less hesitant than if the dog was a German Shepherd. For what it's worth. IMHO the police dogs are treated better than the military service dogs. Police dogs have one handler. Service dogs may have several, and the relationship/bonding is so different.
Then wowee! what we have learned about dogs helping in the community. We have dogs for the blind. Then. What's this. Dogs assisting disabled people in their homes. Sniffer dogs etc. It is so saddening seeing vids of dogs and other animals, being iltreated and abused. Sorry. Just had to get that off my chest.

This morning took Barley to the vets for his booster and a check up. He is ok but there's a cataract developing in his right eye, nothing to worry about at the moment.
He's having a rest and Berry behind him, berry stayed at home so he's a bit worked up because he wasn't taken.

If we had a dog it would be a golden retriever.
There were two in the Jesse Stone series I mentioned on another thread, adopted by Jesse after his bloodhound Boomer had to be put down in the first episode.

The first was Reggie, The actual dog died a few episodes into the series

This might bring a tear to your eye.

He adopted another golden retriever, "Steve" in the last episode.

That's a great video and it's the way that they look at you. Barley he's so intelligent, if we do anything different he knows that something is happening.

Your B&B’s really are sweet-looking, Loggie.
How many times a day do you have to take them out for walkies?
You have such a thing with goldies, I’ll bet you could be a breeder yourself.
