Foxgloves growing in the cracks of the patio slabs, it's re wilding the patio. Buttercups in the woods where I walk the boys
@Logan , beautiful foxgloves! Here are a couple of flowers from my yard. A red peony. An iris. This is "Alcazar", created by Phillippe de Vilmorin in Paris, France in 1905. A HorseChestnut tree. It's a bit large LOL Kind of alarming - the horse chestnut us usually buzzing with bees, you can hear them before you see them. This year... none. I hope it was just the chilly morning.
@Zigs, your Sisyrichium is a couple of months ahead of mine. Very nice! @Droopy , I've never heard of Gentiana. Such a rich beautiful blue!
Thank you @Daniel W they grow anywhere but not where i want them, so i have to dig them up and I've put them in a seed tray until i know where to put them.
Our vitex trees are beginning to bloom. We have two blues and one white. The white was bred by Texas A&M, and being a hybrid, we feared we lost it in last year's snow/ice event. It survived and is blooming nicely! Sorry the tree is not standing straight up, but the wind had other ideas.
