Ratibida. This was my first attempt growing it from seeds. Cats and moles destroyed all but one plant. I think it's worth the effort. Rudbeckias. Also from seeds started during the winter. Squash flower and friend. Four O'clocks.
Thank you @Sjoerd. Planting those seeds helped me get through a gloomy winter. @Zigs those are very nice. I've never heard of corn cockles or corn marigolds. There is a plant that grows all over here that looks like the corn marigold. I've grown cornflower a few times but here they are called "Bachelor's Buttons".
Corncockles were apparently brought over from the middle east by Neolithic farmers when they brought the first grain crops to Europe. The seeds are pretty poisonous
Thank you Sjoerd Just picked some plums put them in the fridge to have with our breakfast. Got a lot more that i will give away to neighbours and friends. Haven't had trouble with codling moth grubs this year,I wander if it's because we didn't have plums last year and broke the cycle.
