    Thanks Sj. Yes those are digitalis I am letting go to seed. They do get very tall don't they?

    Yes I do and then keep the flowers in the frig at night to make them last for a month…or more.. 89F277D6-CD0E-42D4-984F-C31DEFC7B0D3.jpeg

    thse two have been in the frig for 5 weeks and still look ok.they close up at night and open days.

    I planted peonies in my garden last year and now they grow great here. Peonies are perennials that come back every year to take your breath away. Peonies are particularly beneficial to skin and their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties are interesting to fight tissue aging and sooth skin rashes.

    @Anna Embry What do you mean that peonies are good for your skin? What do you do with them? What parts of the peony do you use?

    I had to look it up.. I was curious…google said…Peony Root Extract is a natural antioxidant known to help boost skin clarity. Over time, the appearance of our complexion diminishes—age spots increase and the production of natural oils decreases making skin visibly duller and drier.
    So that’s why all the ground squirrels are always pickin at the peony roots to eliminate their age spots.:smt043
