Well, we asked for rain, and we got it. 10 inches in about 7 hours. Most of the surrounding towns are completely flooded. 294779251_10158463841395940_9048846988857538632_n.jpg

We are supposed to get more tonight and tomorrow. Thankfully, my home is ok, and did not flood.

So glad to hear that your home is fine Lillium but I do feel for the poor people who have been flooded.

Lilium _Lover Are you Ok?and glad your home is ok. It’s a horrible event … stay strong …

Watched the story on the weather channel. A 1000 year flood.. wow scares amazing no one was hurt. There was hundreds of rescues in a apt complex near the creek. The water was up to their necks. So many people displaced. sending blessings your way.

Yes, the 1000 year flood. More rain to come as well.. Its raining now.
I am ok. Thank you. Yes I pray for the tons of people that have been displaced from their homes. I hope the water recedes so they can start to pick up the pieces.

It's awful to see some homes flooded like this while others die from malnutrition, if only we could share the water equally :smt022

That is an incredible amount of rain in a very short period LL. Nowhere for it to go. I hope there is a lot of support for those impacted, and that you can still access your essentials.

If only there was a way to send it to the western states on fire. One going here smoky sky’s and many mile away from here. No power for many of those in harms way.
Sending prayers to all the firefighters and all those your are homeless from the flood.
I just can’t imagine the hell they must be going thru .. so traumatic to just watch it on the news…

I am from southern California, San Diego area. I remember all the wild fires, they happen every year. The earthquakes were always on the watch list as well. The flooding and tornados/storms are quite intense out here. I have gotten to see the worse of both . Yes, mother nature can be brutal.
