@Doghouse Riley - That is a lovely job. It looks very professional. I appreciate the practical value of keeping your car. Our vintage boats are an average of 30 years old, all with a story. When I see a someone with a new one, all I see is payments and dollar signs. Like us - as we age we value what's important and take special care of it:) Your car looks great!

I picked the last handful of Northern Blueberries today. So pleased that they were there and still firm. The last handful of baby zucchinis came in last night - they were sneaky and hiding under leaves. ( ear marked for soup). I think in a day or so I will have to pick the last of the toms and bring them inside.

Garden chores are much fewer now. I trimmed the flowers off of the strawberries. There are still a few hardy souls in there trying to ripen. ( they may taste like cardboard when they are done, but I can work with that). I planted spinach in the end of the strawberry bed two weeks ago, ith the hope of a longer fall, and perhaps one spinach salad. The spinach is up and needed a water. Fingers crossed. I've had it covered in remay to discourage birdies having a snack bar, and chipmunks.

Planted 3 large tubs with spring bulbs, tulips and hyacinths, wallflowers and polyanthus plants, my back aches now and I've still got to tidy the garage floor, but I'll do that later.

@Logan those will be beautiful in the spring. I'm hoping to order some of the Guinea Hen Bulbs that you mentioned to me. I don't know if they will flower, but they are so lovely I'm going to try. My plan is to plant them by the rocks up near the house. They will be a little more sheltered.

Today I picked every tomato that had a glimmer of ripening and brought them inside. I'm going to gamble on some of the really green guys in the greenhouse for now, but my guess is they will come in soon. I'm still harvesting strawberries which is amazing. I'll take every day as a gift and whatever it gives me I will gratefully recieve ( and eat) :)

Planted up 4 more large pots with tulips and wallflowers.
Yesterday picked a lot of cooking apples, going to cook them then put in freezer for future apple crumble and apple pie.
