So sorry to hear that @Droopy think of all the nice memories that you have and your daughter and her family.
My fur baby Angus' Valentine's birthday is always bitter sweet. He was adopted from a rescue with his brother 8 years ago. At four years old we lost his brother Dez to cancer. It was a tough go for the family, but especially for Angus. He is settled in to his life now, but every night on his night walk he has a few barks and then listens. I'm sure he waits for a reply from his brother. Losing Dez left a hole in all of our hearts, especially Angus'. RIP Dez -always missed.
A year ago today, I had to make the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my life. But I know it was the right decision, and you are no longer suffering, my dear little friend. Although our time was short together, you brought so much needed joy into my life, after losing Lady G. I truly believe that God sent you my way to help comfort me, and you did just that. You are dearly loved, and dearly missed, Kobe! But you will never be forgotten! Thank you, Kobe! I love you, Bubba!
Well , sadly, we’ve come to the end of the road with sweet Hope, the senior dog I found running down the side of the road a year and a half ago. She’s essentially been a hospice dog for a while now, valiantly struggling to walk and breathe because of heart issues and COPD. Her little heart truly was 10 sizes too large! This is sad, but we’re also grateful that we had the opportunity to make the time she had left one of love, snuggles, yummy treats, and companionship. She was sweet to the end, even gracefully tolerating the bossing around she routinely got from Jazz, who rules this pack in spite of how tiny she is! We love you sweet Hope. Godspeed. ❤️
I'm so glad that Hope had a wonderful life with you before she passed Ronni. I dread the day when we'll have to say goodbye to our Labrador, Copper.
We are sad for you Ronni - still trying to come to terms with the loss of our two. We swear they are still with us in spirit.
We never forget them, we have 3 dog beds that we got when we had the first 3 goldies, Bramble, Logan and Moss's beds. We still say that they're their beds, even though Barley and Berry use them.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Cooper. He had a blood clot let loose that left him unable to use his hind legs. A pretty smart chap as cats go. Awesome hunter and great with the kids. 10 yrs young RIP my friend.
