Blessed Christmas to all of you here. Sorry, I have been awol again... Today we have a huge storm in the US. Current temp is -4F, with a windchill of -26F. Here in southern Missouri, we have 4 inches of snow and high winds. Thankfully, DS got in early this morning ahead of the storms. The weather people said it was not to reach us until mid afternoon. Hah. It blew in by 8 am or somewhat earlier. I could watch the front pass overhead, and the sky was very black to the west and north. It was mid 30s here at that time. It was forecast to be 10F by 6 pm. It was 11F by noon. We sometimes get weather like this, but not too often at least. Yesterday, I was outdoors all day battening down the hatches to get my ancient farmhouse fixed up for the cold. Mother is just recovered from covid, and still in the rehab, but she took a fall again this morning. They are keeping her a few extra days to be sure she is okay. I sure hope and pray so! She had two hip surgeries this year, and she is 91. She was supposed to come home today or tomorrow? DGD and son and DIL are well. My other family is well. I hope your families are all well. The dogs and cats are well too. I just finished a nice cup of peppermint tea. (herbal). That is very nice on a cold winter evening.

Stay safe and warm thru the upcoming Artic Front movin in.. we can compare notes in a few days as this storm is bearing down as we speak. Ice falling sideways at the moment. I’m sure there will be a lot of clean up after this storm. No power outages.
