Odif wow a iris.. you must be in a good climate ..slightly Mediterranean. I had to look up where Pyrenees Orientales is located. Still confused to what growing zone. My garden is in it’s winter mode in the Pacific Northwest coastal region of the state of Oregon.
We tend not to use ''zones'' here in the UK. We're only an Island, and it's North, South, East or West. I always think of North being coldest, South is warmer, West is wetter and warmer, and east a bit chilly - as a general rule
Tetters.. I have read that your temps throughout the 4 seasons in the UK are very similar to our coastal zone 8 in thr PNW. Many UK garden shows have so many plants that I grow here and vice versa.
I live in zone 6. We have had some mild weather for ages this winter. I for one am not complaining. We had a light frost this morning. Sometimes it gets really cold here with loads of snow.
I agree with Tetters, don't use zones much in the UK i had to Google it. Today it's 11c with rain and in the west midlands. It is usually wet at this time of year.
It's Jasmine nudiflorum. It recently had a really hard prune - right down to the ground. A very necessary exercise, because it was like an ugly haystack before. It has now started to make lovely new growth.
I've never seen a Silver Inch Plant in flower! Isn't that such an neat little package. Well done! It must be happy
The flowers are tiny and last for one day. I never new the name in English, in French it is called La misêre or misery in English.
Odif... Sounds like the Broadway play..Les Miserables . Here in the US… we have … https://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=CHFO mountain misery plant.
