When Daughter #1 Poppie was 5 years old I took her school class on a nature ramble, showing the children what was edible and what was poisonous. I enjoyed that article a lot! Well done, Poppie! When in England I admired all the carefully laid hedges, and some not so carefully laid, but never mind. As long as they were tended to they looked amazing! I was told that hedge laying is a skill that few people knew how to do, but maybe it's getting a revival?
Hedges are so important for all types of wildlife and those who can lay hedges are really contributing to wildlife conservation as well. Well done Poppie and all those others who have followed on.
